Embarking on cruises has become a tradition for my husband, parents, and me. The anticipation for our upcoming voyage is noticable, as we eagerly await another unforgettable journey together. While we're accustomed to filling our vacations with non-stop activities, the serene pace of a cruise encourages us to unwind and savor the moment. Yet, I've learned that my penchant for staying busy can sometimes hinder my ability to fully relax. To ensure a balanced experience this year, I've meticulously planned daily activities and themed accessories for each member of our group.
Day 1 - Cruise Era

As we set sail on our first day at sea, I've arranged a leisurely activity: paint by number kits for all. To commemorate the occasion, I've crafted cruise era-themed bracelet sets for my mom and myself, and have included matching water bottles that will be adorned with themed stickers for each day. The boys will receive cruise survival packs filled with essentials like mints, chapstick, and candy.
Day 2 - A Pirate’s Life For Me

With a day of scuba diving ahead, a pirate theme sets the perfect tone. I've selected a parrot Lego set for entertainment, ensuring a touch of adventure. For my mom and me, pirate-themed bracelet sets and accessories await, while the boys will receive treasure chests filled with trinkets and leather bracelets.
Day 3 - A Berry Nice Day

To infuse sweetness into our third day, I've curated activities such as a new card game, coloring postcards, a hand selected book for each person, accompanied by personalized bookmarks for everyone. Fruit-themed bracelet sets and additional stickers for the water bottles await the ladies, while the boys will also receive personalized bookmarks.
Day 4 - The Best Day

Day 4 is going to be amazing! We are going to see SLOTHS!!! I am super excited and anticipate that it will be the best day ever, hence the theme! The activities I chose are puzzle books! For my mom and me I made BFF bracelet sets, a sloth necklace, a sloth themed coin purse, and more stickers for the water bottle! The boys are also getting some cute sloth socks I picked up!
Day 5 - And We Will All Live Pineapply Ever After

I love pineapples! Every time we go on a cruise I drink my weight in pina coladas basically everyday! So I gave Day 5 a pineapple theme! Also I thought a fun activity would be a tropical spa night! The girls are getting facemasks & foot masks, while the boys are just going to do the foot masks!
For my mom and me I made pineapple bracelet sets, got us matching pineapple spa headbands, and more stickers for the water bottle! The boys are also getting a pair of pineapple themed socks!
Day 6 - Happy Independence Day

Celebrating Independence Day on board calls for patriotic festivities. A jigsaw puzzle and American trivia book will entertain us, while USA-themed bracelet sets and accessories await my mom and me. We also will have a few more stickers to add to the water bottle, American flag scrunchies, and a little American flag tin to keep it in! The boys will sport red, white, and blue sunglasses in honor of the occasion.
Day 7 - Have a “Turtley” Awesome Day

Our final full day is dedicated to turtles, with wooden puzzles and diamond painting keychains to enjoy. Turtle-themed bracelet sets and accessories await the ladies with a turtle anklet and a cute seashell box, while the boys will receive seashell boxes with miniature turtle keepsakes.
Day 8 - Don’t Say Goodbye
Disembark day is always so hard! I love living in Georgia, but having all of our family in Idaho can be hard sometimes! Saying goodbye after an amazing visit is no fun.
To ease the goodbye, I've prepared heartfelt notes and pocket hugs for each of my parents, tucked inside adorable keepsake boxes.
This cruise will for sure be one to remember!
