I absolutely adore a delightful baby shower, and newborns are just the sweetest! I've discovered a fondness for thrifting baskets to keep on hand for any gift-giving occasion. I've also found that crafting the basket to double as a mini-closet adds an adorable touch. In the following sections, I'll outline how I achieve this and share some ideas for what I include in these charming baskets!

Baby Closet Basket

Instructions:

  1. Secure two dowels pointing upward onto your basket using zip ties, string, or glue.

  2. Next, take another dowel and attach it to the two you just inserted, securing it with twine on either side.

  3. Wrap or glue your greenery along the dowels.

  4. Finally, paint the wooden letter and glue it to the front of the basket.

  5. Now you are ready to fill it up!

Basket Filler Ideas

I like to fill the bottom of the basket using things like:

Diapers

Wipes

Towels

Blankets

Then some fun things to add on top include:

Board Books

Bath Toys

Shampoo/Soap

Stuffed Animal

Socks

Hangers

Clothes
